Dryer Sheets

*NOTE: These have been discontinued since I wrote this post… boo, Method, boo!

This is another product where I showed incredible brand loyalty over the years – to Bounce. I loved that they made unscented dryer sheets. Then I found out that regular dryer sheets have animal fat in them (aside from being made by large companies that are known for their animal testing).

I am now using Method dryer cloths. They are reusable; I use them twice then throw them out. This seems to make the price end up to be pretty much the same as bigger brands. Something strange is that these cloths are moist when you open the package. I still have not done any research into the reason for that. When you go to reuse one, it’s dry, and I have occasionally noticed that the 2nd load can get static. To avoid this I just make sure to use the cloth a second time on a smaller or less-important load.

Product: Method Squeaky Green Dryer Cloths in “Free & Clear” (available scented as well). $5.49 to $6 for 40 cloths (80 uses)

Why I Love Them: Simply put, they work. My towels are soft, my clothes and sheets are static-free. The price is reasonable.

Ingredients: Glycol Distearate, Coco Glucoside, Glyceryl Lipids, Cetrimonium Chloride (25%), Phenoxyethanol, biodegradable preservative, fragrance oil blend, purified water.

Where to Buy: Product has been discontinued since I wrote this post. BOO!
